Service of documents

In force

A document under this Act may be served on, or given to, a person in or out of Victoria—

(a)

by delivering it personally to the person; or

(b)

by leaving it at the person's usual or last known place of residence or business with someone who is apparently—

(i)

over the age of 16 years; and

(ii)

residing at that place or, in the case of a place of business, in charge of or employed at that place; or

(c)

by sending it by post addressed to the person at the person's usual or last known place of residence or business; or

(d)

in any other way authorised by the retail premises lease concerned or by or under any other Act.
