Safe Drinking Water Act 2003

For the purposes of this Division, the costs of administering this Act in a particular period are the costs and expenses incurred, or that are likely to be incurred, by the Secretary in that period in carrying out the Secretary's functions under this Act.

For the purposes of subsection (1), costs and expenses include notional costs and expenses (such as a proportionate share of general salary costs, overhead costs or depreciation).

Despite subsection (1), the costs of administering this Act do not include any cost or expense incurred by the Secretary in carrying out any function under Division 2.
