53 Sheriff may request required information from specified agency for purpose of executing warrants
For the purpose of executing a warrant against a person, the sheriff may request in writing to a specified agency that it provide to the sheriff required information in relation to the person.
The sheriff may request required information under subsection (1) only if he or she has made all reasonable attempts to execute a warrant against the person without success.
A request under subsection (1) must include only information that is sufficient to enable the specified agency to identify the person to whom the request relates.
