46 General Fund
The Authority must establish and keep a fund called the General Fund.
There must be paid into the General Fund—
all money received by the Authority, or on its behalf, in respect of, or in connection with, the carrying out of its functions or powers under this Act or any other Act; and
all income from the investment of money in the General Fund and the proceeds of sale of any investment; and
any money directed or approved by the Minister or Treasurer to be paid into the General Fund.
The Authority may pay money out of the General Fund—
to pay any amounts payable by the Authority in relation to its functions or powers under this Act or any other Act, except any money to be paid out of a Project Fund in relation to a Suburban Rail Loop project; and
to pay any costs and expenses incurred by the Authority in relation to its functions or powers under this Act or any other Act, except any costs and expenses to be paid out of a Project Fund in relation to a Suburban Rail Loop project; and
to repay any amount borrowed by the Authority under this Act for any purpose (other than a Suburban Rail Loop project) or pay any other liability of the Authority together with any charges or interest on that amount or liability; and
to pay any amount directed by the Treasurer to be paid under section 50; and
for any other purpose authorised under this Act or any other Act.
