17 How may an authorisation be given?
An authorisation under this Part may be given orally or in writing.
If the authorisation is given orally, it must be confirmed in writing as soon as reasonably practicable.
An authorisation must—
state that it is given under this Part; and
generally describe the terrorist act or suspected terrorist act to which it relates; and

specify the name or description of any police officer to which it is given; and
name or describe the area that may have been exposed, or in which there are people that may have been exposed, to contamination; and
specify the time at which it is given.
