21W Offence to obstruct or hinder search or other powers

A person must not, without reasonable excuse—

(a)
obstruct or hinder a police officer or protective services officer in the exercise of a power under this Division to stop and search a person or vehicle, to enter and search premises or to seize and detain a thing; or

(b)
fail to comply with a direction given by a police officer or protective services officer in the exercise of a power under this Division to give that direction.
- 100 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years, or both.
