Terrorism (Community Protection) Act 2003

to provide a scheme that enables authorised disclosers to collect, use and disclose to each other certain information about—

referred persons; and

prospective participants; and

participants; and

respondents to applications for support and engagement orders; and

supported persons; and

to specify the purposes for which that information may be requested and disclosed; and

to specify some of the kinds of information that may be requested and disclosed; and

to permit authorised disclosers to disclose information for other purposes in exceptional circumstances; and

to specify the circumstances in which that information must not be disclosed; and

to regulate the way this information is handled by authorised disclosers.
