53 Terms and conditions of appointment
A member of the Operational Committee appointed under section 52(1)(a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h), (i) or (k)—
is not entitled to remuneration; and
is entitled to any travelling allowances that are determined by the Board.
A member of the Operational Committee appointed under section 52(1)(j)—
holds office for a period not exceeding 2 years; and
is eligible for reappointment; and

is entitled to remuneration and any travelling allowances determined by the Board.
The Public Administration Act 2004 (other than Part 3 of that Act) applies to a member in respect of the office of a member of the Operational Committee.
If a member of the Operational Committee is appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, that member immediately ceases to hold office as a member of the Operational Committee.
