Victorian Fisheries Authority Act 2016

For the purposes of this Act and the Fisheries Act 1995, the role of the Minister is—

to be responsible for key strategies and policy relating to fisheries and recreational boating; and

to administer this Act and the Fisheries Act 1995; and

to exercise the powers, functions and duties of the Minister under this Act and the Fisheries Act 1995.

Nothing in this section limits the roles, powers, functions or duties of the Minister under this Act or any other Act, at common law or under any convention or practice relating to roles, powers, functions or duties of Ministers generally.
