48 Authorised officers appointed under the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987 employed by the Authority
This section applies to a person who—
immediately before the commencement day, is an authorised officer appointed under section 83 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987; and
on the commencement day, is employed by the Authority.
For a period of 28 days commencing on and including the commencement day, the person continues to be an authorised officer appointed under section 83 of the Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987 unless the Authority appoints the person as an authorised officer under this Act within that period.
In this section—
commencement day means the day on which section 3 comes into operation.
