Any employees that are necessary for the purposes of performing the functions of the Commission under this Act, gambling legislation or any other Act may be employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004.
The Commission may enter into agreements or arrangements for the use of the services of any staff of a government department, statutory authority or other public body.

The Commission may, by instrument, nominate a person by name to assist or advise the Commission in the performance of functions under this Act, gambling legislation or any other Act.
A nomination under subsection (3) must specify the functions in relation to which the nominated person is to assist or advise the Commission.
A nomination under subsection (3) remains in force for the period determined by the Commission and may be extended from time to time by the Commission.
