34 Immunity provision
A Compliance Officer has, in the performance of their function as a Compliance Officer, the same protection and immunity as a judge of the Supreme Court has in the performance of their duties as a judge.

An affected party, including the Member or former Member who has appealed to a Compliance Officer and the relevant Officer who made the determination in respect of which the appeal has been made, has the same protection and immunity as a party to proceedings in the Supreme Court.

In this section, relevant Officer has the same meaning as it has in section 3 of the Parliamentary Salaries, Allowances and Superannuation Act 1968.
