An allocation statement under section 287F may be amended by a document in writing signed by the Minister and the managing director of the transferee and the transferor.

An amendment under subsection (1) to an allocation statement made after the relevant date in relation to that statement may be made with effect from that relevant date if the Minister is satisfied that the amendment does not adversely affect any property, rights or liabilities of a person other than the transferor or the transferee in relation to that statement but must not otherwise be so made.

In this Part, a reference to an allocation statement includes (where the case so requires) a reference to such a statement as amended under this section.
