64AM Other powers to cancel water-use licences
(1)
The holder of a water-use licence may apply to the Minister for the cancellation of the licence.
(2)
On receiving an application made by a licence holder under subsection (1), the Minister must cancel the licence.
(3)
At least 30 days before cancelling a licence under subsection (2), the Minister must notify any person who holds a registered mortgage (under the Transfer of Land Act 1958) over the land specified in the licence of the proposal to cancel the licence.
