2 Section 39B provides offences in relation to false or misleading statements.

A person who is not the manufacturer of a WELS product is taken to be the manufacturer of the product for the purposes of subsection (1) and section 31(3)(b) if that person would be taken to be the manufacturer of the product for the purposes of sections 26(1) and 31(3)(b) of the Commonwealth Act.
Note
This section differs from section 26 of the Commonwealth Act.
