44 Hunting in a team for deer (other than Hog Deer) with dogs that are not hounds
A person hunting in a team for deer (other than Hog Deer), for the purpose of locating, pointing or flushing that deer, must ensure that the team does not use more than—
2 gundogs listed in Part 1 of Schedule 4; or
2 deer hunting dogs listed in Part 3 of Schedule 4; or
one gundog listed in Part 1 of Schedule 4 and one deer hunting dog listed in Part 3 of Schedule 4.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
Subregulation (1) does not apply to a person who is—
carrying out an activity in accordance with an Order made under section 7A of the Act; or
carrying out an activity in accordance with an authorisation given under section 28A of the Act; or
carrying out an activity in accordance with an authorisation order.
