64 Where judgment satisfied
Where a judgment or order for damages in favour of a worker and against his employer or the third party has been satisfied in whole or a payment into court by the employer or the third party has been accepted for an injury or a claim has been settled or compromised for which compensation would have been payable under this Act—
the right to compensation under this Act shall be reduced by an amount equal to the amount recovered under the judgment, payment into court, settlement or compromise, as the case may be;
the right of a worker to further weekly payments under this Act shall thereupon cease or determine;

the County Court or Administrative Appeals Tribunal may refuse to make any award in favour of the worker for any damage caused by an injury if it is satisfied that the judgment for such damages, payment into court, settlement or compromise, as the case may be, was in respect of the damage caused by such injury.
