137 Requirements of Aboriginal-led model
An Aboriginal-led early diversion group conference model must—
(a)
recognise that strong connections with family, kin, community, culture, Country and Elders are the foundations needed for Aboriginal children to thrive; and
(b)
be tailored to address the particular needs of Aboriginal children by incorporating Aboriginal culture, knowledge and expertise; and
(c)
be consistent with the guiding youth justice principles; and
(d)
be consistent with the requirements set out in Part 4.4 in relation to early diversion group conferences.
