445 Custodial rights of children and young persons
(1)
A child or young person who is held in custody in a youth justice custodial centre has custodial rights.
(2)
The custodial rights apply subject to, and in addition to, the rights of a child or young person under—
(a)
any other Act (including the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities); and
(b)
common law.
