627 Release on parole from youth justice custodial centre
Subject to this Part, the Youth Parole Board may by written order direct that a child or young person detained in a youth justice custodial centre be released on or granted parole at the time specified in the order.
A child or young person must be released on or granted parole in accordance with the order under subsection (1) unless the Youth Parole Board sooner revokes the order under subsection (4).
If, before a child or young person is released on parole, the Youth Parole Board determines that the child or young person is to be released at a time other than the time specified in the parole order, the child or young person must be released at that other time.
Before a child or young person is released under a parole order, the Youth Parole Board may revoke the order.
