20 Council members
(a)
Council member who is charged with an offence against by‑law 8 shall be deemed to have ceased to be effective Councillor.
(b)
In the event that such charge against the Council member is withdrawn or is dismissed after trial then, by that occurrence he shall be restored to his former position.
