140 Financial assistance, CEO’s powers to provide
(1)
The CEO may provide financial assistance —
(a)
to a person in whose care a child has been placed; or
(b)
in relation to a service provided or arranged,
under Division 1 of Part 3.
(2)
The CEO may provide financial assistance to —
(a)
a person who looks after a child under section 31; or
(b)
a prospective adoptive parent with whom a child has been placed with a view to the child’s adoption by that person; or
(c)
a carer who is a prospective adoptive parent; or
(d)
a child’s adoptive parent, in relation to the child.
