9 Pig to be protected from adverse weather, injuries and predators
A person in charge of a pig must ensure that the pig is provided with an enclosure that —
(a)
provides the pig with shade and protection from the elements, injuries, predators and any other threat to the welfare, safety or health of the pig; and
(b)
is located so that the pig is able to access it reasonably easily; and
(c)
is sufficiently large to accommodate the needs of all of the pigs that have access to it.
Penalty: a fine of $2 500.
