12 Rights in s. 7A(2) and 11, limitations on

The right of an accused to have his case for bail considered as soon as is practicable, his right to be at liberty as mentioned in sections 7A(2) and 11(1), and the corresponding duties created by this Part, are limited so far as is reasonably necessary for the exercise or performance by a person of any statutory power or function vested in him which requires or permits the continued custody of the accused, including the exercise of the powers set out in Part 12 of the Criminal Investigation Act 2006 and Parts 6 and 7 of the Criminal Investigation (Identifying People) Act 2002.
