Application of South Australian Act

4 Application of South Australian Act

(1)

Subject to subsection (2), the South Australian Act applies as a law of this State.

(2)

The South Australian Act applies as a law of this State as if —

(a)

section 2 of that Act were omitted;

(b)

references in that Act to the State were references to this State;

(c)

in section 10(1) of that Act “The Registrar‑General” were omitted and the following were substituted —

On being satisfied that ABAL has been given a certificate under section 17(3), the Registrar of Titles

”;

(d)

Part 3 of that Act were omitted;

(e)

in section 15 of that Act —

(i)

in the definition of “State Scheme” after “Superannuation Act 1988” the following were inserted —

“ of South Australia ”; and

(ii)

the definition of “scheduled provisions” were omitted;

(f)

section 16(3) of that Act were omitted;

(g)

section 17 of that Act read as follows —
