Criteria for categorisation as extinct species

In force

A native species is eligible for listing in the category of extinct species at a particular time if, at that time —

(a)

there is no reasonable doubt that the last member of the species has died; and

(b)

listing in that category is otherwise in accordance with the ministerial guidelines.
