Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016

An instrument under subsection (1) may limit the functions of the person designated to functions specified in the instrument.

Subject to any limitation under subsection (3), wildlife officers —

have the functions conferred on them under this Act and the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016; and

if authorised by the CEO for the purposes of this paragraph, have the functions conferred on them under the Bush Fires Act 1954; and

have the functions conferred on them under any other written law.

Subject to any limitation under subsection (3), forest officers, rangers and conservation and land management officers —

have the functions conferred on them under this Act; and

if authorised by the CEO for the purposes of this paragraph, have the functions conferred on them under the Bush Fires Act 1954; and

have the functions conferred on them under any other written law.
