66 Duty to notify CEO of change in ownership or occupation
If a certificate of title or other record in respect of land contains an endorsement or notation relating to a notification lodged under section 63(1), an owner of the land to which the notification relates must give written notice to the CEO in accordance with subsection (2) if —
that person ceases to be an owner of the land; or
that person or another person ceases to be an occupier of the land.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $20 000.
The notice must —
give details of the change in ownership or occupation of the land, including the name and address of the next owner or occupier of the land (if known); and
be given to the CEO within 60 days after the day on which the change in ownership or occupation of the land occurs.
