127 Withdrawal of infringement notice

(1)

The Director General may withdraw an infringement notice.

(2)

To withdraw an infringement notice the Director General must give the alleged offender a notice in the prescribed form stating that the infringement notice has been withdrawn.

(3)

An infringement notice may be withdrawn whether or not the modified penalty specified in the notice has been paid.

(4)

If an infringement notice is withdrawn after the modified penalty has been paid, the amount paid must be refunded.
