Existing applications for registration

In force

(1)

An application for registration made under section 12 or 14 of the repealed Act before commencement day that has not been finally determined before commencement day is to be dealt with and determined under the repealed Act as if that Act had not been repealed.

(2)

For the purposes of subsection (1) —

(a)

a reference in the repealed Act to the former board is to be taken to be a reference to the Board; and

(b)

a reference in the repealed Act to the registrar of the former board is to be taken to be a reference to the Building Commissioner.

(3)

A person who is registered on the determination of an application to which subsection subsection (1) applies is to be taken to have been registered immediately before commencement day.
