44 Further information
The Board may, in writing, require an applicant under section 43 to do any or all of the following —
provide the Board with such further information as the Board requires in any particular case;
verify any further information by statutory declaration;
provide the Board with the applicant’s written consent to seek information about the applicant relevant to the application from another specified person.
The Board may specify in the requirement a reasonable time within which the applicant must comply with the requirement.
The Board may refuse to consider an application if the applicant does not comply with a requirement under subsection (1) within the time specified in the requirement or, if no time is so specified, within a reasonable time.
The Board may, in writing, require the applicant to attend before the Board for the purpose of satisfying the Board as to a matter relevant to the application and, if the person fails to attend, may refuse the application.
