54 Protection from liability for persons performing functions under Act
(1)
A person does not incur any civil or criminal liability for an act done or omission made in good faith in the performance, or purported performance, of a function under this Act or any other law relating to charitable trusts.
(2)
In doing the act, the person is not liable —
(a)
to any disciplinary action under a written law; or
(b)
to be dismissed from any office or to have the person’s employment terminated; or
(c)
to have the person’s services dispensed with or otherwise terminated.
(3)
In this section, a reference to the doing of an act includes a reference to making an omission.
