112 What are active membership provisions and resolutions
Active membership provisions in the rules of a co‑operative are provisions in the rules that state —
which of the activities of the co‑operative are the primary activities of the co‑operative; and
the way in which and the extent to which a member of the co‑operative must use or support an activity of, or maintain a relationship or an arrangement with, the co‑operative for carrying on a primary activity of the co‑operative, in order to establish active membership of the co‑operative.
An active membership resolution is a resolution that would, if given effect to, make or amend active membership provisions in the rules of a co‑operative.
