139 Exemptions for disclosure statements
(1)
The Registrar may, by order published in the Gazette, exempt a co‑operative or a class of co‑operatives from any or all of the provisions of this Division.
(2)
An exemption under subsection (1) may be given only if the Registrar is satisfied that compliance with the requirement would be inappropriate in the circumstances or would impose an unreasonable burden.
(3)
An exemption may be granted unconditionally or subject to conditions.
