69A False copies of documents
A person who, in purported compliance with section 68 —
gives a person intending or applying to become a member of a co‑operative a document as a copy of —
a special resolution of the co‑operative; or
the most recent financial information reported to members of the co‑operative under Part 10A;
and
knows, or ought to know that, in a material respect, it is not a true copy of the resolution or information; and
does not indicate to that person that it is not a true copy,
is guilty of an offence.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $1 000.
