Renewal of registration
20 Renewal of registration
If on an application made under section 19 the Commission is satisfied —
the applicant —
is a fit and proper person; and
is medically and physically fit to be registered as a contestant in that class; and
has complied with any conditions and restrictions imposed on the applicant under this Part; and
understands the duties that this Act will impose on the applicant if the application is granted;
and
there is no reason, in the interests of the health and safety of the applicant or of any contestant with whom the applicant might participate in a contest, not to do so,
the Commission must renew the applicant’s registration as a contestant in the class sought in the application.
When renewing a contestant’s registration, the Commission may impose such conditions or restrictions on the contestant as it thinks fit.
