A person who, immediately before the commencement of this Act, was registered as a boxer of a certain class is to be treated on the commencement of this Act as being registered as a contestant of that class.
The conditions and restrictions applicable to the registration of a person referred to in subsection (1) and the time for renewal of the registration continue to apply as if this Act had not been enacted.
