51A Bicycles
A person must not, without lawful authority, ride a bicycle on CALM land other than on a road or bicycle path or in a designated area.
Penalty: a fine of $500.
Subregulation (1) does not apply in respect of a road that is in a restricted area.
A person must not, without lawful authority, on a road that is in a restricted area —
ride a bicycle if that activity is prohibited in the area under regulation 5; or
contravene a restriction imposed on riding a bicycle in the area under regulation 5.
Penalty: a fine of $1 000.
In this regulation —
bicycle path means a path, or length of a path, at both ends of which are signs indicating that persons may ride bicycles on the path or the length between those signs.
