Protection from criminal responsibility for acts in authorised operation

Current

Despite any written or other law, a participant who engages in an activity in an authorised operation in the course of, and for the purposes of the operation, is not, if engaging in that activity is an offence, criminally responsible for the offence, if —

(a)

the activity is authorised by, and is engaged in accordance with, the authority for the operation; and

(b)

in the case of a controlled operation, the activity meets the requirements of section 130.
