52 Section 5 offences, enhanced police powers to enter, search etc. places
A police officer may, for the purposes of investigating the section 5 offence, without a warrant —
at any time enter any place where there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that the offence has been, or is being, committed; and
demand the production of, and inspect, any articles or records kept there.
A police officer who has entered a place under subsection (1) may —
search the place and secure the place for the purposes of searching it; and
stop, detain, and search anyone at the place; and
photograph any person or thing, and make a copy of or seize any document that the police officer suspects on reasonable grounds will provide evidence or other information relevant to the investigation of the offence; and
seize anything else that the police officer suspects on reasonable grounds will provide evidence or other information relevant to the investigation of the offence.
A police officer may use any force that is reasonably necessary in exercising powers given by subsections (1) and (2).
