In force

Where a person does an act or omits to do an act —

(a)

intending to destroy or damage property; or

(b)

knowing or believing that the act or omission is likely to result in the destruction of or damage to property,

and the act or omission results in the destruction of or damage to property, the person is regarded for the purposes of this division as having wilfully destroyed or damaged property.
