Things found may be seized and examined

Current

If under this Part a forensic procedure is done on a person and —

(a)

the thing, a search for which was the object of the procedure, is removed, or a sample of it is taken, from the person; or

(b)

under section 105, a thing is removed, or a sample of it is taken, from the person,

then —

(c)

the thing or sample may, subject to section 146, be seized;

(d)

whether or not it is seized, a forensic examination may be done on it.
