61C Use of metal detectors
(1)
A police officer may, without a warrant, require a person in a public place within a designated area to stop and submit to the use of a metal detector.
(2)
A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail or refuse to comply with a requirement made of the person under subsection (1).
Penalty for this subsection: imprisonment for 12 months and a fine of $12 000.
