In this Part —
identifying particular, in relation to a person, means —
a print of the person’s hands (including fingers), feet (including toes) or ears;
a photograph of the person (including of an identifying feature of the person);
a measurement of any identifying feature of the person;
an impression of an identifying feature of the person (including a dental impression);
a sample of the person’s hair taken for purposes other than obtaining the person’s DNA profile;
the person’s DNA profile;
an identifying particular of the person that is prescribed for the purposes of this definition;
suspect means a person who is reasonably suspected of having committed a serious offence but who has not been charged with the offence, and, for the purposes of this definition, it does not matter whether or not the person is in lawful custody.
