49 Making of WA police orders

(1)

A police officer of the State may make a WA police order in another participating jurisdiction if the person against whom the order is sought or proposed to be made has a connection with a cross‑border region.

(2)

The law of the State applies (with any appropriate modifications) in relation to the making of the order.

Note for this section:

For the purpose of deciding whether or not the person against whom the WA police order is sought or proposed to be made has a connection with a cross‑border region, section 22 and Part 2 Division 4 apply.
