58 Other powers

(1)

In this section —

licensing powers, of a police officer of another participating jurisdiction, means any of the powers the police officer has under that other jurisdiction’s vehicle or driver licensing laws other than a power to which section 57(2) applies.

(2)

A police officer of another participating jurisdiction may exercise in the State any of the police officer’s licensing powers in relation to a person who ordinarily resides in a part of that other jurisdiction that is in a cross‑border region.
