Transfer of ownership of microchipped dogs

In force

Within 7 days after the transfer of the ownership of a microchipped dog, the person who effected the transfer must give notice in writing to the microchip database company for that dog, of —

(a)

the name and address of the person to whom the ownership of the dog was transferred; and

(b)

any other changes to the information prescribed under section 24 in respect of the dog.

Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
