38E Cancellation of pet shop approval
A local government may cancel a pet shop approval that the local government granted to a person only if the person requests that the local government cancel the approval or the local government is satisfied that —
any of the things set out in section 38D(2)(a), (c) or (d) applies in relation to the person; or
the person does not need the approval; or
the person has not complied with a condition imposed on the approval; or
the person has not complied with a requirement under this Act or the Animal Welfare Act 2002; or
there has been a contravention of this Act or the Animal Welfare Act 2002 in relation to the relevant pet shop business conducted by the person or the pet shop to which the approval relates; or
a circumstance prescribed for the purposes of this section applies.
