(2)

The Electoral Commissioner must cancel the registration of the registered political party.

(3)

Section 62L(3) to (6) apply in relation to a cancellation of registration under subsection (2) of this section as if it were a cancellation of registration under section 62L (other than because of section 62L(2)(d)), subject to the modification set out in subsection (4) of this section.

(4)

For the purposes of subsection (3), section 62L(3)(c) applies as if the reference to the period of 14 days after the Gazette notice is given were a reference to the period of 5 business days beginning on the day on which the Gazette notice is given.

(5)

Nothing in this section prevents the cancellation of the registration of a political party under section 62L.
