89H Nominating or changing accountable person for how‑to‑vote cards

(1)

The accountable person for a registered how‑to‑vote card, or the person, political party or group on whose behalf the how‑to‑vote card is registered, may, by written notice given to the Electoral Commissioner, nominate a person to be the accountable person for a registered how‑to‑vote card.

(2)

If a person is nominated as the accountable person for a registered how‑to‑vote card under subsection (1) —

(a)

the person becomes the accountable person for the how‑to‑vote card; and

(b)

any other person who was the accountable person ceases to be the accountable person.
